OUR CREED

We believe and teach that the bible is the Word of the living God, that it was written by inspired men of God and that it is infallible, incorruptible and indestructible. We believe and teach because of God’s Word that Jesus is God manifested in the flesh, that He is the Son of God who walked this earth teaching and preaching the kingdom of God, that He was crucified on a cross for our sins and died, rose from the dead on the third day, and is now seated in heaven at the right hand of the Father forever making intercession on our behalf. We believe and teach that this same Jesus is preparing His church to forever be with Him in heaven through the work of the person of the Holy Spirit and that He will return to receive His church, we His people, into glory to forever be with Him and the Father. We believe and teach that the Godhead exists in these three persons: God the Father, God the Son in the person of Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that our salvation which Jesus died to obtain is sealed and eternal the moment we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. We believe that we receive our salvation by confession with our mouth that Jesus is Lord of our life, and by believing in our hearts that He indeed died for us and provided by His death the means for eternal life. We show this through our external rite of water baptism and worship that this is an internal decision that we have made and accepted in our life that Jesus is now Lord of our life. We believe and receive this by faith because we believe that God’s Word is infallible and that His Word is the foundation of our faith and the means by which we receive our faith. We believe and teach that the love of God is the foundation for all that we believe and that it is by this love that we have come to accept His Word as truth, and have accepted these truths as our Creed to live by.
